Ma Chance Moi Aussi

Based in Chambéry, Ma Chance Moi Aussi (My Luck, Me Too) was created by André Payerne, an industrialist from Haut-Savoyard, who noticed the social inequality that existed in the lower-income suburbs of France. As somebody who was already involved in passing on fundamental values to children from very vulnerable families and stimulating them through access to a variety of professions, he created Ma Chance Moi Aussi in 2015. The charity’s aim is simple: to give all children the same opportunities for success!

Through these establishments, more than 200 children between the ages of 5 and 16, 92% of whom come from families below the poverty line, are given the chance to succeed in school.

The charity’s strong presence in the Rhône-Alpes region, and the alignment of their mission and that of the 1% For Education fund naturally led us to want to support its development and help it spread its innovative model throughout France.

The Maped employees have contributed to the charity’s mission by designing workshops for the children at the various establishments. All of them are opportunities to help children develop their creativity, discover the world of business and find out how a new product is created!
